Children have the right to protest about the climate crisis

Overview: Article 15 of the The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child says: “Children can join or set up groups or organisations, and they can meet with others, as long as this does not harm other people.” In this Kidversation we meet Mya-Rose, who is a climate change activist. Mya-Rose discusses how climate change is affecting all children’s rights. Watch the video together, pausing at key points to discuss the different parts of the video and issues it is exploring.

-To develop this understanding by finding out about the life experiences of another child
