Overview: Article 28 of the The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child says: “Children have the right to an education. Primary education must be free and different forms of secondary education must be available to every child.”
Curriculum areas: PSHCE/Citizenship
Objectives:
-To develop understanding of Article 28 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
-To develop this understanding by finding out about the life experiences of another child.
-To consider what can be done to ensure all children have this right.
Age range: Year 5 – Year 9 (Upper KS2 – KS3)
