What can you expect?

A fun, interactive, educational activity that will:

  • Get children talking about what’s happening in the world around them
  • Develop crucial cultural capital
  • Build retrieval skills
  • Wake up everyone’s brains and get them ready for learning – first thing in the morning; after lunch/breaktime; at the mid-afternoon slump

Play as individuals, in small groups, or as a class!

  • A fresh set of ten intriguing questions every week during term time, based on news stories from that week.
  • Play as individuals, in small groups, or as a class.
  • After completing the quiz, the relevant stories can be pulled up onto the screen, inspiring discussion and debate.

How to play

  • Amongst your class, nominate a quizmaster to read the questions and click the answers.
  • Each question will have multiple-choice or true/false options for the answer.
  • Think carefully about your answer and raise your hand if you think you know it.
