Everything your school needs to take part in the Takeover Challenge 2023

First News has worked with WWF-UK to put together a set of resources for ages 7-11 and 11-14 to help you teach your pupils the basics of sustainability, sustainable business and greenwashing, and to provide them with the critical thinking skills they need to ask a business about its sustainability.

Each pack contains 7 resources:

• A walkthrough lesson plan
• Accompanying slides
• Video chat sheet to accompany the campaign video
• Advice on contacting businesses
• Questions for businesses
• Template letter to employers
• Information sheet for businesses

The campaign video is presented by Sky Kids FYI’s Maya and Thomas. They visit Sky and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. to ask them about their sustainability. You can use the video as an example of the kinds of questions we want your pupils to ask their local businesses.
