On this week’s FYI, let’s be honest, 2021 didn’t get off to a great start. After a Christmas in lockdown, the new year began not with the usual fireworks and parties, but with empty streets and worries about coronavirus. But things did get better, and throughout the year we got all the info on all the big stories to see what they meant for us. Stick with Scarlett and Braydon as they look back on 2021.

Watch six films by six young climate activists from six different continents, here. The films, made with Sky Kids, deliver a powerful message about how climate change is already having an impact on their lives, as world leaders gather in Glasgow for COP26.

Young DofE participants and Award holders from across the UK will today help launch a new fund in memory of the charity’s founder, The Duke of Edinburgh. The Living Legacy Fund will give a million more young people the life changing opportunity to achieve a DofE Award over the next five years, building the self-belief, confidence and skills to feel ready to overcome anything life throws their way.
