Lesson resource

In this episode, Jeriah explains the story of the first ever satellite, and visits engineers who are building a new satellite that can measure the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Meanwhile, Scarlett discovers how satellites have helped us track walrus and penguin colonies, as well as how much the Amazon rainforest has shrunk.

This film is one of a six-part series from the Science Museum Group where Scarlett and Jeriah explore how humans will live in the future, and the ways we are working to slow down climate change.
