First News for Schools - First News is the UK's only newspaper for young people and a highly engaging literacy resource for schools. A range of school packages are available, including our new Literacy iHub, a digital literacy tool for 7-14 year olds.

What is the iHub?

The iHub is a digital reading platform that is updated weekly with topical debates, polls, comprehensions, word puzzles and writing challenges based on First News stories.

It develops pupils’ knowledge, ideas, opinions and vocabulary of cross-curricular content. Core reading skills including inference, deduction, summarising and the ability to form reasoned opinions are also developed.

And now, you can try the iHub for one term with our Taster Package.
